For the first time, Vietnam will host the Optoelectronics Industry Exhibition from October 31 to November 2, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. The event will feature OVER 150 domestic and international booths, showcasing products such as ToF lenses, Fisheye lenses, microscopes, laser devices, and various other high-tech products. The exhibition provides an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to connect and collaborate with international partners.

Vietnam is accelerating the development of its telecommunications infrastructure, aiming to achieve nationwide broadband internet coverage by 2025. The advancement of new technologies such as digital television and internet-based broadcasting is also driving demand for advanced optoelectronic products. Additionally, with advantages in labor costs, low production expenses, and government support policies, Vietnam is becoming an attractive destination for investors in this sector.

The Optoelectronics industry is an interdisciplinary field that combines optics (light) and electronics, focusing on the study and application of light-related phenomena in electronic devices. It is a crucial sector in modern technology, playing a key role in telecommunications, healthcare, energy, defense, automation, and consumer electronics.
