The Vietnam International Semiconductor Industry Exhibition (Semicon Vietnam 2024) and the Vietnam International Optoelectronic Exhibition 2024 were launched by Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Industry and Trade on October 31.
Delegates visit the exhibition
The event features around 150 booths from Vietnamese and international businesses, showcasing products in semiconductor design, testing, calibration, surface treatment chemicals and equipment, electronic measurement tools, safety equipment for high-tech manufacturing, solutions for cutting engraving, and surface processing for circuit boards.
High-tech applications such as robotics, automation products, AI (artificial intelligence) in manufacturing, machine vision, smart home devices, and smart factory technology will also be highlighted. The optoelectronics sector exhibition will display advanced products, including lenses, prisms, infrared cameras for smart homes, security, and automotive use, as well as microscopes, magnifying lamps, and more.
Within the scope of the event, organisers will also present the International Optoelectronics Exhibition 2024, which focuses on optical technologies that closely align with semiconductor manufacturing processes.
The exhibition offers companies a platform to connect, partner, and collaborate with local and international stakeholders, fostering high-tech sector growth in Ho Chi Minh City. It also aims to enhance trade promotion opportunities for Vietnamese businesses, expand the diversity of exhibit fields, and broaden market reach.
Running from October 31 to November 2, the event will feature forums, seminars on high-tech investment promotion in Ho Chi Minh City, business networking, technical workshops, and programmes introducing products and technologies from prominent organisations and exhibitors.
